Volunteer for March 29 Urban League Workshop

Help wanted! Please join PRSA Tampa Bay on Tuesday, March 29, to give back to our community when we host a communication and job-search skills session via Zoom to the Pinellas County Urban League.
Continuing our chapter’s community education program, the Public Service Committee is recruiting members to donate an hour and a half to participate in a workshop to serve the Urban League’s Career Connection initiative. We’ll share our public relations and business expertise with about 25 economically disadvantaged job seekers who are looking to further develop their communication and professional skills in order to restart their careers. To do this, we’ll host a session by videoconference that provides guidance on résumé tips, job-search pointers, interviewing best practices, and other communication and decision-making skills for the business world. The workshop will include a presentation followed by a short question-and-answer period.
