Support Our Fundraiser for the Pinellas County Urban League

As the coronavirus continues to afflict Tampa Bay, PRSA Tampa Bay’s Public Service Committee is still working to give back to the community. Your donation to our latest effort can lend a hand.
The Pinellas County Urban League has the mission to empower communities while changing lives. This organization aims to enable African Americans and other underserved urban residents to secure economic self-reliance and civil rights through a variety of services for education and job training, housing and community development, workforce development and entrepreneurship, and health programs. But, as many other nonprofits have had to do, the Urban League has had to limit many in-person services as part of its COVID-19 restrictions.
The Public Relations Society of America Tampa Bay chapter is working with this nonprofit to help it at one of the times when it needs assistance the most. Please help us help the Urban League continue its COVID-limited services by making a donation through our GoFundMe site. Your donations will directly enable services such as leadership and career-development education, new home construction and home-energy-assistance programs, job-seeker-assistance programs, and health screenings and education sessions.
