Lend Your Expertise at Nov. 2 Résumé Review

Help wanted! Please join PRSA Tampa Bay on Wednesday, November 2, to give back to our community when we host an in-person résumé review at Metropolitan Ministries.
It’s been two and a half years since our chapter has been able to give back to the community by sharing our communication and business skills with some of those less fortunate than we are, but now we’re back. We’re recruiting chapter members to donate a couple of hours to participate in a workshop that is part of Metropolitan Ministries’ life skills program.
The attendees will include about 25 economically disadvantaged job seekers who are looking to rebuild their business writing and personal communication skills in order to restart their careers. Our workshop, which will be in person, is designed to do exactly that, and it will include a presentation of best writing practices and job-search tips by our volunteers followed by breakout meetings in which volunteers will individually discuss their résumé critiques and recommendations with each job seeker.
