International Women’s Day 2023 #EmbraceEquity

As we celebrate International Women’s Day 2023, consider these statistics that demonstrate that gender diversity is good for business, while showing more progress is needed to create equity for women. In fact, diversity in the workforce in general is good for business. As PR professionals, we can help by highlighting these and other facts in our communications about International Women’s Day, Women’s History Month and throughout the year. Today and every day, let’s all #EmbraceEquity.  

  • $12 trillion: The amount of money that could be added to the global economy in annual 2025 GDP if women are allowed to reach their full economic potential worldwide.  McKinsey Global Institute, 2015
